Still extremely cold! -22C (-8F) as I'm typing now...absolutely crazy.

BUT thankfully it should "warm" up a bit during the week....+2C even...but nights will ofcourse still drop around -10C...But atleast I can wash the car for the first time in a month! Thank god!

Texas still on schedule to do a Finland impersonation starting Sunday afternoon. And I have to travel in the middle of it, Monday morning. Yeeegh.

That is chilly!

It was 23 at 5am, with freezing mist that hung around for a few hours. Of course there were wrecks all over the place. Since freezing mist doesn't get picked up by weather radar, a lot of folks who checked it prior to heading out got a nasty surprise!

Usually, temps will go up once daylight hits. This is one of those days where it is the opposite. As I write this at 3:40pm, it is 10 degrees. It will continue to get colder. Sunday they are calling for a high temp of 2. Some very light snow going on, we might end up with an inch or two, but there are 40 mph winds so it's blowing all over the place. And giving us a nice wind chill of -20.

Basically, we are the opposite of this:

Brrrr....I happened to have my phone out while walking by the TV weather report, so snapped this pic.

Snowing for the next 3 hours or so.

I have turned my furnace off, and am running the fireplace - with it this cold for the next couple of days, the furnace runs non-stop and never catches up to any temp I set it at. So fuck modern tech lol

Look... we're chilly here in the south of England... but we can't compete with that! Between -1/-2C overnight, 4-6C during the day!

This is about as cold as it ever gets around here. Most years it never gets that low.

I'm going to watch the Chiefs play the Dolphins in half an hour. They are playing in Kansas City, and right now the temp is -7 F. No clue what the wind chill is.

I'd have to be paid a LOT of cash before I would consider going to that game in person, and sitting around for three hours in this weather!

-15C (5F) at the moment but tonight it should drop below 20 again (-5F) and same again tomorrow and the day after...then a proper blizzard again....man this winter is relentless!
