Bit of a winter storm coming...wind has picked up quite a bit and we're expected to get around 5-6 inches of wet snow tonight...yuck!

Things have gotten chilly! -9C (16F) at the moment...and going down! It is exteremely abnormal to have temps this low in November. Come on global warming do your thing damnit! The people demand WARMTH!!!

But that's just it - the warming increases the likelihood of extreme temperature swings. Also extreme weather events - I'm braced for the fact that big ice storms are going to be more frequent in Texas and that I'll have to just ride them out.

Well it better start warming things up here and fast damnit! This is cold is ridiculous! But sadly if the global warming goes on as predicted this area (The whole Scandinavia region) will actually get COLDER as the warming effect of the Golf Stream is going to diminish or die out entirely...so this will become what Alaska is now(and without all the paranormal activity!)...and that's not only a yikes but a no no for me and I'll be heading somewhere warm!

Still cold....-13C now...and wind is picking up so you can add another -10 to that with the wind chill!

Well we got about 2 inches of snow last night....luckily it's gotten bit warmer now with only -4C (25F)...but it won't last...by the end of the week we're dropping below -15C again! It is extremely rare to have temps like these in late november/early December around here.
