^Yep the Chiefs were probably very lucky in the end. Giants got an offside call against them which would’ve otherwise been an interception and also before that a phantom face mask call when the Chiefs were second and 15 at their own 24 which kickstarted the game winning drive.

Still, Chiefs aren't as bad off as the Lions, which are 11-point underdogs going up against Bye Week. :smug:

Looking at the week 9 games...

Jets got some momentum with their new QB, should be all they need to overrun the hapless Colts.

Raiders should dispatch the wounded Giants.

Saints vs Falcons... even though there was the novelty element in the Saints' win over NE, I think they can do the job over Atlanta. Don't underestimate Coach Payton.

Bills beat Jaguars.

Browns v Bengals... both teams trying to figure out what went wrong last week. I think the Bengals win this one, as Cleveland reverts to being the Factory of Sadness.

Patriots beat Panthers: Belichick likes his Mac 'n' Cheese and the puzzle pieces are coming together in his mind.

Cowboys beat the Broncos: Broncos look to be on a track to tank the season to get some good draft picks. No Miller in the Broncos line means the Dallas QB will enjoy that much less pressure to do some fun stuff.

Ravens v Vikings: It'll be close. EVERY Vikings game is close. Ravens then win it, because close isn't good enough, just ask the Lions.

GAME OF THE WEEK: Texans v Dolphins  In a battle for the basement, I'll go with the Dolphins.

Chargers v Eagles: Chargers get this one, the Eagles are just too young to be consistent.

Packers v Chiefs: I'm sorry, Vyn. I'm so so sorry. I don't know what to say. If the Packers' injuries catch up to them and the Chiefs offense gets it together, it could be a Chiefs win. But those are two big, big ifs.

Cardinals v 49ers: I'm pretty sure everyone in Arizona finished the required Pass Awareness Course and will be ready to take apart the middling Squared Sevens of Santa Clara.

Titans v Rams: Titans might just do it, but I expect it to be a good, close match. Titans are getting their act together and seem ready to contend.

Bears v Steelers: Bad news, Bears. Big Ben is still standing. It'll be a defensive battle, but the Steelers are one of those teams that always seems to be able to get its act together after a rough patch. The Bears are NOT one of those teams.

That poor girl and her family. I’ll never understand what possess someone to get behind the wheel heavily intoxicated, especially someone that’s so filthy rich that can easily afford a taxi or even a chauffeured limo ride home. Lives and families forever ruined. Totally senseless

Oh yeah that Raiders guy... totally irresponsible on his part.

Meanwhile, the Jets remembered who they were and found a way to blow it with the Colts.

:(  Pretty disgusting.  Bad enough he was intoxicated, but I can tell you from personal experience, one must pay extra attention when driving a Corvette.  It is very easy to speed without realizing it.

Lots of upsets yesterday. Bills losing to the Jaguars one of the biggest.

Yeah, upsets galore. Chiefs managed to put one over on the Packers, although I was hoping Green Bay would win simply to prove Rogers isn't the whole team.

Since Green Bay couldn't manage to beat a struggling Chiefs team, they proved that Rogers is the whole team lol.

The Chiefs should sling Rogers some cash or something in gratitude for gifting them the win.

Definitely some crazy results this week. Don’t know what to make of the Cowboys loss. Did they get ahead of themselves thinking it would just happen easily with Dak coming back after winning on the road without him last week? Or did the the Broncos come with a plan to shut down the Cowboys offense and execute it perfectly? I suspect a bit of both.

That Broncos coach might just get to keep his job, doing stuff like that. :D

And the Titans really did a humbling number on the Rams. Speaking of keeping jobs, that ray of sunshine for the Jags in figuring out how to stuff the Bills doesn't hurt that coach's postition.

The Dolphins defense won the game last night against a Ravens offense that looked like it was out of gas. Good news for the other teams in the AFC North that want a shot at the top rank there.

Cowboys doing better vs the Falcons, wondering what happened for WFT to beat Tampa Bay Bucs... and the Lions, do they get their first win today in OT vs the Steelers?

Good to see the Cowboys bounced back quickly from that loss last week and it didn’t become a trend. They absolutely hammered the Falcons. Can’t believe Washington beat the Bucs though, wtf happened there?

Bodes well for my bet though. I had a rather large bet on the Cardinals to win the SB before this weeks game started so I’m sure if the Cardinals win today the Bucs who were favourites to win the SB will ease out in the betting and the Cardinals will tighten up.

Cards did *not* win. Apparently Cam Newton is back...

Typical ::)

Man this season is throwing up some strange results. You can’t bet with any certainty going on the last couple of weeks.
