NFL 2021-2022 Season

So I checked on the US football news the other day, and was surprised by a lot of stuff that I saw, owing to the fact that I haven't followed any of it since the Super Bowl.

But, apparently... Carson Wentz is now on the Colts? I did not see that happening. But I am pleasantly surprised to see that Dallas has got good health on the team, overall, and that Dak has a lot more receivers to throw to, so I'm hoping for the Cowboys to make a good run of it this year.

Week 3 is in the bag, Cowboys looking like they can go where Dak Prescott can lead them.

^^Agree, I wasn’t expecting Dak to be playing this great let alone this early in the season after that nasty injury last year. That offense is dynamic at the moment.

Was watching the Seahawks Rams game today and got a good chuckle out of this. Seattle’s Aussie punter Michael Dickson’s AFL skills & instincts kicked in leaving everyone inc the commentators bamboozled.

THAT WAS SO SWEET! And for a moment I half-expected Petracca to show up out of nowhere and make a spectacular mark!

It's wild how we have QBs that were going nowhere with their old teams are now flying high - Stafford was limited in Detroit, is going nuts with LA and Sam Darnold who got dropped by the Jets after not saving them from dumpster fire games is now looking sharp with the Panthers.

Fun games last week, Cowboys were Giant-slayers and the Songbirds busted the Squared Sevens!

Hard loss for KC at home against the Bills.

KC had better reapply themselves or they're done for the season.

Good news for KC is that they have WFT this week, the Flaming Thumbtacks next week, and the New York Giant Disappointments after that. That should help them to add some wins while sorting out what needs to be done to deal with the Packers in week 10. Dallas in week 11, so I'll have to cheer for the Boys that week. Bye for the KC Hardin Stemmed Points in week 12, woof...

Dallas needs to quit fumbling in the second half, gonna be a key to victory if they can manage that adjustment.

It seemed the Cowboys did everything they could to lose the game but won in the end thanks to Dak. He’s playing as a top 3 QB in the league right now. And even though the D is still giving up points they’ve improved remarkably on last season.

Dallas are legit Super Bowl prospects and I’m excited!

Indeed... and Dak is now opening up the field the way Aaron Rogers does. He used to not be comfortable with long bombs, now he's got those well in stride.

^ Yep and he’s becoming so accurate with those long bombs. He’s also identifying much quicker when the pocket is closing in on him and getting out and rushing for yards and or pinpointing passes on the run. He’s much more complete now.

This is the Dak that can take a strong team to the Super Bowl. Defense has to do its job, because teams that can only do an air show don't win the big game.

Yet another crazy game today. Instead of kicking a game-tying FG to send it to OT the Bills went for a risky 4th & 1 at the Titans 3 yard line with 22 seconds left on the clock but the Titans defense held firm and iced the game.

Fuck how good is Derrick Henry though…

Bills are still one of the top teams in the league, with the Cards, Bucs, and Boys. I'm hoping to see the Cowboys stay at the top of the ladder.

The Titans' win helps them move up a few places in the power rankings - and they're all citing Derrick Henry as the reason why. He is *dangerous*.
