Wow, yeah... 20 years... wow...

I'm just now wrapping my head around it, because I can remember buying it new, and that memory seems only a few seconds old...

Today is also the birthday of AC/DC's Let There Be Rock.  :headbanger: It will be 43.

Tomorrow will be the birthday of Iron Maiden's The Number of the Beast. 38 years for that LP. Anthrax' Among the Living will be 33 tomorrow, as well.

I have a signed Let There Be Rock vinyl. Bought it off a collector many many years ago who had fallen on hard times. Wonder what it’s worth now with two of the members no longer with us?
How ironic would it be if I have to sell it if my business gets hit hard with the current events and I fall on hard times  ???

What a great trio of albums you’ve mentioned there btw

My second favorite Slayer album, just behind South Of Heaven, I can remember seeing it in a record store when I was much younger and bought it for the cover alone  :death:

Judas Priest’s Sin After Sin turned 43 yesterday and today this great album was released on this day 42 years ago. Not only was it Ronnie’s last album with Rainbow but it was also Rainbow’s last great album and probably Ritchie’s last truly great work.

I think it’s also my favourite Rainbow album when it’s all said and done.

Fantastic album indeed! I still prefer Rising but this is a masterpiece as well.

I like Rising better as well, but the two albums go incredibly well together.

Kinda changes with me in terms of what’s my favourite depending on my mood. For the longest time the debut was and at various times it’s been Rising and LLRNR but it’s fair to say all 3 are sublime. I like Down To Earth as well but then it went pear-shaped after that.
