Would be interested to get everyone’s definitive top 10 Motörhead albums. Maybe we could do a countdown of one each per day like we’ve done previously in other threads.

I can also anticipate a top 10 albums by any artist from the last 20 years thread 2001-20

I can also anticipate myself going stupid on starting new threads like I did last time I was in lockdown  :excited: :-X

I'll be happy when this ear blockage buggers off - had to decline work today because of it.

On the plus side, I scored a couple of Heaven and Hell shirts from the 2007 Australia/NZ tour on eBay, they look like new! Passed up getting one when I saw them and regretted it ever since.

This thought occured to me earlier...

Why do they say "Fail miserably"? I mean if you fail you fail...but if you fail miserably doesn't that mean your failing was miserable...in other words your failing sucked so in other words you failed to fail...which means you succeeded?

Agreed Charger! All of those designs that I saw looked really cool. Always wished I'd picked up a couple at the show but I was still in high school and didn't have much cash at the time.

'Fail miserably' (which does sound weird when I think about it) means that you not only failed, but there wasn't even any hint of success. I guess in that way there's a difference between, say, failing an exam by two marks and failing an exam by thirty marks.

I never bought a shirt either, got no idea why I didn’t, maybe they were overpriced and I bought a tour program instead.

The thing I regret is not hitting up more shows on the Australian tour. My brother knew someone that worked for the promoter Andrew McMannus and he got us front row floor seats for Melbourne which was awesome and a memory that will stay with me forever but I would’ve been able to get front row for other shows too. I remember we had a new born at the time and I wasn’t keen to travel alone as the missus couldn’t come and no mates were interested in travelling either but I really wish I had’ve now.
