Yes winter is now upon us. It does get hot here but in the southern states where I’m from it’s only in the summer and early parts of autumn, but you do get use to it.

How are the winter temps usually around there? Do you get below freezing temps even at nights? I don't think so right?

We can in Melbourne but rarely. We do get regular overnight temps of between 1-5c through the middle of winter though. The alpine areas of the states of Victoria and NSW can get regular below freezing temperatures.

Something like that I assumed.

In other words your winter is like our summer! :D

Sad to learn of the passing of Paul Chapman. A brilliant and much underrated guitarist who had the unenviable task of replacing Michael Schenker in UFO. Played on 4 studio albums from 78-83. No Place To Run, The Wild, The Willing and the Innocent, Mechanix and Making Contact. A great era of UFO. Also played in Pete Way’s band Waysted.

RIP

Very sad news indeed . Love the UFO/Chapman era . His guitar solo in Profession of Violence song is stellar.
Smoking guitar works with Waysted on this awesome Hard Rock album "The Good The Bad The Waysted" .

RIP Paul

Fair winds Mr. Chapman. I enjoyed Waysted when they first came out, especially their record Vices. Saw the in concert with Raven and somebody else. Only thing I recall is that Waysted put on a good set, and Raven sucked. No clue who the third band was, or even who was the headliner.

What should I be expecting? A special super limited edition of Forbidden with Tony Iommi's booger included on the booklet?

I’m craving a Dio era Sabbath vinyl boxset.

Now that's something I'd go for as well.

I've got the original pressing of Live Evil, the limited edition of Live At Hammersmith and The Devil You Know but no others so that would be a nice collection to have.

^Yep I’ve got all the original Dio era vinyls(studio & Live) inc H&H(band) but I really want and need a remastered Vinyl boxset with all the bells & whistles. There’s been a few Ozzy era top end vinyl boxsets but annoyingly no Dio. They should’ve at least released The Rules of Hell on vinyl back when.
