Salmiakki-Matto Salty Licorice Bar. I think I understand a little more about Charger now.

Today is spring. Tomorrow is winter. I am enjoying an open window and a light breeze... for now!

I think I must live in the wrong time zone. Gets lonely around here during the day.

Australia is in an odd corner of the world, time-wise. You come on as the Americas go to sleep and get off as Europe wakes up.

Whenever I travel to Asia, it's the Aussies and the early risers in Europe that I interact with the most.

You should list off all the bands you have listened to, so we know not to suggest any of them again. :D

I'm not sure the forum db could handle all of the data

That reminds me. I’d really like to catalogue my whole vinyl collection on Discogs but the task is just so overwhelming :o
I started doing my Metallica collection about a year ago and only got as far as KEA and RTL and gave up  :wall:

I created a SQL Server db and a basic web front end several years ago and did exactly that. Cataloged all of my vinyl. I've since acquired more that I have yet to enter, and in fact during one server room redesign I didn't spin that machine back up so it isn't even accessible right now. I just need to find time to turn it on lol. I track just about every bit of data from condition grading (I use Goldmine's) to engineering data and dead wax markings. All personnel, guest personal, writing credits by track, playing credits by track, bio of the band and all personnel. If nothing fit, I have a nice Notes field. It is a lot of data.

It is overwhelming, but not unachievable. I would sit down and grab a stack of ten or twenty records and grind through them. It took at least six months, but I made it a habit, like brushing my teeth, because I knew it was going to suck. And if I can do it, undoubtedly you can too!

I’d really like to but it’s finding the time & motivation though. And then then grading them on top of that  O:-) At least with new and or sealed vinyls you can just put M. Maybe I’ll just have to skip that part, but on the other hand it would be handy if you ever came across what you think might be a superior copy of an album you have and you can just look it up and decide on the spot whether to buy it or not.

I might add Master Of Puppets today then and if I’ve still got the heart I’ll do ...And Justice For All as well. Thanks for the motivation Vyn. This self-iso time is probably as good as time as ever.

[Edit] Ok just finished putting MOP and AJFA and all associated singles in. Man, my numbered AJFA Metallipromo and 12”Eye of the Beholder is worth a stack now.

Just realised though. I forgot to put the $5.98 EP Garage Days Re-Revisited in before AJFA  :wall:

Anyone know how to re-sort the order on Discogs without having to delete and and do it over again?
