Central Russia (Центральный Федеральный Округ) is told to have no winter this year? WTF?

We're not having one either so far. +3C and rain now!

South West Finland. And when there is talk about unusual winter weather it usually comes down to the polar vortex. And it seems that Alaska and North Canada are getting some really cold weather now...which often means north europe gets warmth.

Another smoke hazed day with high temp(36c) here in Melbourne, probably worse than yesterday. But good news, the cool change has come through and is pissing down rain as I type which should clear a lot of the smoke

Seriously what a disgraceful joke, even Pat Benatar who topped the vote and was every bit as deserving missed out. First time an artist that topped the fan vote didn’t get in.

Yeah that’s a load of bullshit, they’re biased against Metal acts really unless they’re highly accepted by the masses like Metallica, they’ve inducted Flavor Flave for Christ’s sakes and other rap acts.

I mean, yeah, there's a connection between rock and rap/hip-hop, but the genres really are distinct. Not many radio stations go directly from David Bowie to Lil' Wayne... But, even so, there's a rich history of performance that will be passed over because it's either unfamiliar to popular voters or disliked by the self-proclaimed gatekeepers of the Hall.

I mean, Pat Benetar, Todd Rundgren, and the MC5 are all monumental in their own way, but for one reason or another don't get the props they're due. So it goes.
