Absolutely agreed.

Never had an apple product and never will have an apple product. Not only are the insanely expensive and quality wise totally horrible and repairing them costs a fortune....they also do that.

I also do have to say, having used Nokia, Motorola, Ericsson, Sony Ericsson, LG and countless other smaller brands over the years (I believe I have had some 50 or so phones) I have never EVER had to have any of them repaired. And few people I know that own iPhones have to have them checked for something or another twice a year! Crazy. And still they think it's the best phone on the market... :doh:

Never bought Apple stuff, never wanted to buy their stuff after having to use some of their gear at work. Lots of sales guys like Apple stuff... until they forget the adapter they need to plug it in to a display...

So last days of 2019...last days of the DECADE! Crazy! It just was 2009 and were all shocked to hear about Ronnie's cancer diagnosis. Where the fuck has the time gone??

Anyways 2020 starts very differently for me than any decade before...full time night job. 6 nights of work 2 nights off. Bit different...lets see how it'll work out.

Ten years ago, I was teaching Economics at high school and was enjoying a Christmas Vacation at my old house.

7 years ago, I was still teaching Economics, but had resolved to end my career as a teacher because of the way the state of Texas obsessed over test scores. I was studying for my CCNA certification at the time.

Now, I've been back in IT for 6.5 years. That CCNA and the CCNP after it got me a new career path, which leads me to a Christmas Vacation in a new house.

2020 promises to be another interesting ride around the sun.
