Highest ever recorded temp in Finland was 37.2C (99F) but that was about 200 miles north east from here...usually we don't get the hottest air here in south west as the sea keeps things cooler.

So no we have never clocked over 38C or 100F...

We have however gone below -50C (-58F)!! But that was in north east Lapland.

Hey!

Lapland is where SANTA LIVES! On a place called Korvatunturi...exact location unknown.

That is the traditional Saamelaispuku, or the national garment of the Sámi people.

I think if you wear that and you're not a part of the Sámi people they'll skin you alive...they're pretty damn sensitive about their culture. :D

Temperature fell to 14oF (-10oC) last night, and the high today will stay just below freezing.  In other words, Finland weather.
I am not happy.  :squint:

It'll be in the 50s for the next few days before swinging back up to the 70s and getting everyone's allergies aggravated again.
