A calm day today after a few days of strong winds and latterly rain.

Sun is shining, temp's nice +2C and everything. Almost spring like...but that won't last...tonight it's gonna go below -10C again...

It has been unseasonably cold over the last week or so but today it is 8 Celsius. Overcast but not raining, it would seem that Spring is on it's way.

Got home all right yesterday in spite of weather playing havoc with flight schedules. Overcast and in the 30s-40s here in Dallas.

SE Queensland is getting right soaked. The gardener I like to follow from over there had this mini-documentary about how wet his property is.

Some nice almost spring like days this week...but now it's gonna change again...Temp's falling below freezing again with night as low as -15C (5F)...so goodbye springy time..

SE Queensland is getting right soaked. The gardener I like to follow from over there had this mini-documentary about how wet his property is.

The rain has been insane in northern NSW and Queensland this past week. They had a years worth of rain in two days and there’s extensive flooding throughout those areas. Over half a million people have been evacuated from their homes and 8 people have died. Hard to comprehend when you see service stations with the water level past the roof line with just the top of the BP sign poking through the water level.

Last week we had bright sunny weather which hit 20°C in places... this week there could be snow! but not as far south as us, but it will be much colder for a few days.
