Well high for today was 34.2C (94F)...safe to say it was pretty warm. Haven't had temps like that in several years I believe.

It's gonna get somewhat colder next week...barely reaching to 20C anymore...dramatic drop.

94F here in Dallas, TX... but for us, that's a nice, normal summer high temperature for July. August is when we expect the 100+ days.

Well quite a dramatic drop in temp now.

Sunday we had that 34C (94F) and now it's 17C (63F)!!!! Feels COLD.

We get pairs of days like that in Texas. As I get older, they can make me miserable, almost like catching a cold for a day or two because of the swing in temperature.

Tornado went through northern Dallas County, but did not affect my neighborhood. Me and mine are safe here.

Not in Texas. We had one in December a year ago, really nasty one. I think only in January and February we're not worried about tornadoes popping up. And, even then, we can have the big cold front from Canada hitting the hot, humid air from the Gulf of Mexico that kicks off these storms that produce tornadoes and monster hail.

It's 57F in my house today. Heater broke and we found out because we had a sudden freeze. Fortunately, the repair company is sending a tech over today to fix it up. :)

Thank goodness the furnace guy showed up. Had a clogged exhaust tube, so no way would the heater start until it got cleaned out.
