so confortable  sunny 16°C (61F) today !! usual weather confitions of an April day in this end of February  .
Less than 5°C (41F) at the same time one year ago .

Strange day today... 7C (45F)...that's quite unseasonably warm...beautiful day too with sunny skies and nice warm wind. Almost surreal really.

Yeah, there were some tornadoes last week and we're about to get another round of severe storms this week. It's expected spring weather here, where tornadoes pretty much hit out in the country (because there is a lot of country, relative to urban areas... matter of percentages, not because cities are immune) and hail hits everywhere.

There is so much hail damage in north Texas, it gives us some very high car insurance rates and I think the highest home insurance rates in the USA.

Storms have passed over today. We got a lot of rain and wind, doesn't seem to have been all that severe in my area, except for knocking out power here and there.
