We topped out today at 31 F. Which is a heatwave because the past four days the high has been 20 F.

Bit over 3 inches of snow came last night...which ofcourse meant shoveling....which ofcourse means the arm hurts again...fucking winter!

Well thankfully today has been +3C and most of the snow is now gone again...and it looks like it'll stay above freezing during the day times for the next week or so...which is nice!

Extremely strange circumstances now...It's +5C (40F) and everything is still frozen and freezing. The roads are covered in a thin layer of ice that just wont melt. There is very little water anywhere and soon as you drop some water on the ground it freezes...I've never encountered these conditions before...very odd.

The earth has finally ran out of internal heat and the ground is freezing despite the air temps being well above freezing.

RUN! RUN AWAY!!!

Houston and New Orleans are about to get 4-8 inches of snow (10-20cm), so add that to the "pretty weird" tally.

Aaaand it's snowing again! ARGH!

But luckily it should be above freezing tomorrow so with any ammount of luck the snow will melt before I need to shovel it.
