Cold now!

Weather warnings for snow over the weekend for large parts of the country, but here on the south coast we'll probably just be cold!

Very cold indeed!
-11C at the moment and getting colder by the minute...might crack -15C (5F) tonight. Me not like! Bring me back my global warming damnit!

We're not quite that cold! Locally we should dip to -3/-4 overnight, +4 tomorrow daytime. Up north maybe -8/-10 overnight... maybe 0 tomorrow daytome.

Weather is a little chilly right now, but not bad. The high-priced weatherdude is saying Saturday evening we should see an ice storm roll in, and continue until about 6 am Sunday. At which point it will turn to snow. It will snow all day, with 50 mph winds, leaving about 14 inches of the shit behind.

We'll see what pans out!

Dallas will get whatever's left from Vyn's front after it dumps on Kansas and Oklahoma.

Not that I want Z to get hammered with bad weather, but I'm hoping the front can hold it in until it passes over us HAHA. Maybe dump it out in the Gulf of Mexico!

Although it is just now starting to ice up. Bleh

Edited to add that the Kansas City International airport just closed. So yeah, it's just starting and already bad.

Multi-multi edit day! Just caught on the news that the KC Chiefs are stranded on a runway at KCI. They have a game tomorrow against Denver. I find that especially hilarious because I have a crew going down to Brownsville, originally today. But they were smart enough to change their flights. I guess Chiefs management didn't watch the weather lol.

Drops to 23F by Monday morning, but highs are set to be in the mid-30s or low 40s for the next week. Lows in the 20s for the next week. Looks to be dry until Thursday. Then we get a rain/ice/snow event, depending on temperatures. Yugh.

So, the Chiefs managed to make it to Denver yesterday.

It looks like the weather predictions leading into this were pretty well spot on! Where I live picked up about a quarter of an inch of ice, then it let off for a little bit and started back up this morning about five hours ago. But this time as snow, and so far we have about 4 inches. High winds combined with the snowfall making visibility suck, and they say we have about 12 more hours of it. Should end up with about 15 inches.

Oh, and it's a high of 16 degrees today and will stay that cold for at least the next four or five days.

Since I'm in between jobs, I can cover a radio show tomorrow AM.

Bit "warmer" today with only -5C (23F)....tomorrow it looks to be snowing again...and then we'll climb above freezing for a day or two and then plummet again..annoying to say the least.

No wind and it's sunny. Ahhhhh! Still below freezing, but feels warmer without the wind.

Wet this afternoon, but still cold (forecasters thought it might be sleet or snow). However, it will probably freeze overnight which will make paths dicey in the morning.

Wet snow right now, clouds that brought the snow are ironically keeping temperatures from falling below freezing.

Zig Zagging here between Freezing and not...tomorrow we'll supposed to be getting another few inches of snow...blah.
