With the temperature in the 80s, an incredibly humid day today.  My gauge says 74% humidity.  That is the highest I have ever seen it when it is not raining.  Doing chores outside this morning felt like I was working in a swamp.

Yeah, it is really rough in the humidity. Body sweats, but it can't evaporate, so you're left being coated with water increasing in temperature. When that hits me, I head to a cold shower and stay inside. I don't need to have heat exhaustion ever again.

Try playing a tennis match in that stuff.  Did it a few times decades ago.  They don't cancel tennis matches because it is too hot or humid.

Indeed. Sports cancellations usually require something moving from the sky to the earth. Stay hydrated!
