Of all the matchups in the coming round, it's the Bills-Chiefs that looks to be the closest game and I think the AFC champion comes out of that matchup.

In the NFC, I expect both Bays to advance. If there's to be an upset, though, I'd have the Rams beating the Bucs. I'll watch SF-GB, but I don't see how SF gets past a team that is rested and at its peak. Bengals will likely beat the Titans. Or not. But the winner of Bills-Chiefs will prevail in the AFC, probably meeting Aaron Rodgers and the Packers in the Super Bowl.

Bengals v Titans: Titans will be well-rested and get their star RB back... but their defense has holes, especially on pass defense and guess who the Bengals found to play QB? Could be a shootout, and I'd favor the Bengals. Cincinnati Bengals win, in what I expect to be a close match.

49ers v Packers: Jimmy G is hurt, hasn't ever played below 40 degrees, and the 49ers are headed to Lambeau, where Ice King Aaron the First rules. GB has been seamless and Rodgers is at his peak. The game could be close, but GB has always been a team that can somehow score in the closing seconds, if they have to. (Unlike SOME TEAMS... Agh!) Green Bay Packers win on a cold day in Wisconsin.

Rams v Bucs: Another potential shoot-out. TB pass defense is not where it needs to be, so Matt Stafford and the Rams can likely light things up. TB also has some injury issues and those reach to their offensive linemen. Aaron Donald and Von Miller are coming against a less-strong O line, which may mean Brady won't be vertical for the whole of the game. Jalen Ramsey could be the answer for stopping Mike Evans. This could be the year of the Ram in LA: Los Angeles Rams win because they've got the healthier, more complete team right now.

Bills v Chiefs: America's Game of the Week (TM) in a week with 3 other games that are full of high-class footballery. Mahomes and Allen are ready to go, and their teams are ready to win a championship. So how about the defenses? Bills have one of the top defenses, but have a weakness on the run, and who was it that was making a lot of plays against the hapless Steelers? That would be a fine RB by the name of Jerick McKinnon... it's almost a coin toss, but I gotta pick a winner... well, how about the quality of the victories from last weekend? KC played a Steelers side that, frankly, was lucky to be there. As in Colts losing to Jaguars lucky. I'm not surprised that the Chiefs dominated Roethlisberger's swan song. The Bills played the ever-cagey Belichik and they didn't just win, they wiped the floor with the Pats. The Patriots were a strong team and the Bills tossed them around like a rag doll. Steel sharpens steel, and I think the Bills are ready to win against the Chiefs. Buffalo Bills win and come out of this ready for anything.

Im going away for the weekend so better get my selections in before I forget.

Titans
Packers
Bucs
Bills

Also I’m ok if Vyn is given 5-1 with the rest of us. I think at the very least he would’ve tipped 5 winners last week.

Or perhaps 4-1-1, one tie for tardiness?

Bengals off to a good start... interception on the first play!

EDIT: wow this game looks like it may become a defensive slugfest. Only the third set of plays and I've lost count of the sacks.  :twitch: And now kick catch interference...  At least the refs' whistles are working as designed thus far.

Titans come up short again in the playoffs. They're just a regular season team.

Burrow was sacked 9 times but they still found a way to win. Is that a playoff record?
