Yeah...which is why I chose to work nights. It helps a bit...but I do still get those under 3 hours of sleep nights every now and then...

Have always wanted a Jackson King V in Snow White since I was a teenager. Don’t often see one in Australian stores but saw one today and just had to have it, especially for the price I was given. So laid down a deposit on it and will pay it off

Got my AC inspected because I had questions about it... turns out, there were justifications for those questions. There are hot/cold spots in my house because the duct work is all messed up. Because the duct work is all messed up, the AC unit is getting less than half the airflow it needs to do its job. It's been that way for a long time, and the unit shows some bad wear and tear and there's bacterial growth beginning in the unit due to overcondensation, one of those things that happens with insufficient air flow.

Given that there's already a war and high inflation and supply chain issues, I went ahead and ordered the replacement now. It ain't cheap, but it's cheaper than the one that gets ordered only a few months from now...

Still enjoying my Gillette shaver, very nice and I'm now on my first set of replacement blades.

Taking a day off tomorrow to have a day trip with the missus.

Booked business travel for the end of March.

The HQ for the company I'm with is in Northern Virginia, which is where I'll be going. We'll be building out a lab environment for putting together customer solutions. We do work advising federal agencies on cybersecurity solutions.

With the change in weather, my wooden front doors in a wooden frame are having humidity- and heat-related gyrations, had to remove the faceplates on the locks so they'd shut properly.
