Busy day at work, but I fixed the integration issue and people are now able to do other things that they'll complain about not working tomorrow.

Pretty normal day for me..

I thought it would be a nice day the change summer tyres to the car...so I did...got the other side done fine then when I started with the left front tire the lock nut key said "snap crackle and pop" and broke in half...so a panic call to a parts dealer to see if they had one...well it seems that there are over 25 different kind of luck nuts on BMW's of this era so they don't have any on stock...and ofcourse I have no way of knowing which one I have since they only differ very slightly...can't take a bolt out to take to them as the damn key broke...and ofcourse this has to be the only damn part on a BMW that does NOT have a parts number on it for fucks sake! Even the singular buttons on the dash have individual parts numbers! But not on this damn lock nut key!

So the next option is to buy a tool that grips on the lock nut and forces it out...but ofcourse no one has one on stock because the size is so strange....so now I have to wait for a week to have one delivered...

So now I have a car with 19" summer tyres on the right and 18" winter tyres on the left! Lovely...and I can't do fuck all...

I wish there would be a week...just a simple one fuckin' week without something going belly up...but no...when it rains it pours and it fuckin' rains all the fuckin' time in the world of Charger....

Well six hours of work today but finally got the bolt out...had to weld on it...didn't work...then I just had to drill the bolt out of the wheel...

What a pain in the ass...it had somehow locked itself to the wheel and that caused the whole problem...

But thankfully got it out without even damaging the wheel....so there's that...

Yeh...that's pretty much the story of my life...after life takes a massive dump on me I manage to move a small little turd out so I can just barely breathe again...and that can be counted as a win.

I wore a black shirt today so of course my big white cat had to jump up on my lap and roll around on it.

I now have a fuzzy white shirt.

Passed a certification exam today. I get to take the next one in the series tomorrow, feeling confident I'll do the job and get the passing score.

About ten years ago, I went and took a cert exam. Passed. What's notable is that I bought a book to review prior to taking the exam, and it turned out that the examples they had in the book were precisely, and in order, replicated ON THE EXAM. I had been told that it usually took a person about two hours to complete the exam. I was done in 20 minutes, so I jacked around for another half an hour before turning it in just because I felt ridiculous.

There are some vendors that are so desperate to get certified individuals, I'd believe more than one did a copy-paste of test materials to the "official curriculum."
