It's funny this morning when I woke up it didn't hurt at all and I though well...shit...did I just got sick leave for nothing...well 3 hours later and it hurt like hell and I was like...okay...that's more like it!

Had a good interview today, second one with HackerOne. They are a great outfit. Claroty I interviewed with on Tuesday, should know for sure about them sometime next week.

Well, Claroty gave me a "thanks but no" email. So it's HackerOne where I've gone the furthest in the interview process and still have an opening. Hoping that one works out.

Well, yesterday our Senior Security Analyst put in his two weeks notice, Dec. 27th will be his last day. We had been full remote until this past June, when we went to a three-day in-office requirement, and he has been bent out of shape ever since. I knew it was just a matter of time - but, and I told him this, I'm glad to see he scooped up something that makes him happy. I mean, we're an international freight company, so even though we do fork out the cash for an infosec role (a rarity in the industry) the pay scale is in the middle and now it is in-office.

The man had been with us for six and a half years. He really fell in love with working from home, because he had no problem being in five days a week before, now three is too much

This is why sales-related roles appeal to me. I may have to be on the road more, but when I'm not on the road, I'm at home.

Well got back from the physical therapist and he gave me some stretches to do with my arm and also told me to buy an elbow strap to wear as well as some kinetic tape.
The tape he put on is already helping...

Well yesterday I did somexmas cleaning and that did not sit well with the arm....hurts again...so step forward, step backwards.

You gotta lay off the arm! It took me eight months to get mine to heal up because I was a hard head and would tell myself shit like, "Well, it has been doing great lately, I'll just go do some stuff that needs doing. It's not a big deal." And my arm would be like, "haha, watch this, bitch!" and promptly hurt like hell in order to remind me to lay off of it. And then added another week and a half recovery time.

Yeah....I'm much like you in that regard...very hard to just do nothing with the arm...but that's what it needs...total rest.

Over here, HackerOne moved with another candidate, so it's on to the next firm. Fortunately, I have an interview with them on Thursday.
