On cinema: The 12th Man http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3300980/ Incredibly great!
On TV: The Back To The Future triology. Also great. Got an affinity for the third, as that's the one i had on vhs as a kid.

I went and saw Black Panther today. It is a good film, but I thought it would be better what with all the buzz about it. The performances are great and there's nothing wrong with the effects, I just think the story wasn't as strong as it could have been. It's still in my Top 10 MCU films though. :) 8/10

That's cool to know...I have been pondering whether to see this or not...I wasn't too impressed by the trailer...and frankly there are enough of Marvel heroes out there already...not to mention INFINITY WARS is coming this year too...and that is gonna be epic for sure.

Avengers: Infinity War is going to be insane... there's something like 63 significant characters in it!!! Far too many to allow everyone to have a significant role, so I guess some will have limited screen time. I'm not sure that Black Panther is essential viewing unless you're a completist like me, it doesn't lead into Infinity War in any major way.

Avengers: Infinity War
Ant-Man and the Wasp

Deadpool 2
X-Men: Dark Phoenix
(while New Mutants has just been pushed back to Feb 2019)

Venom
Spiderman (the animated film)

7? Wow....

Well to be honest I prefer Iron Man/Captain America/Thor/Guardians...the others not so much...hate Spiderman actually...the Sam Raimi movies were HORRIBLE.

They're doing a sequel to Ant Man? Wow...the first one was pretty darn stupid too.

Deadpool was a mixed bag....it had some great moments but the onslaught of stupid so-called funny banter was just so over the top it ruined the feel. It had few laugh out loud moments but man too much is too much and it had waaaaaay too much...so I'm not even sure I'll go and see the sequel...as much as I like Ryan Reynolds.

Myself, I'm not into big special effects movies, including the superhero stuff. I actually love well-done kids' animation best, stuff like from Pixar and Miyazaki's Studio Ghibli.

I was sick last week when the family went to a special singalong/speakalong showing of The Princess Bride. I was sad to have missed that one.

If you haven't seen A Grand Night In: The Story of Aardman, it's strongly recommended.

I saw The Shape of Water a couple of days ago. I didn't comment then because it's a weird film and felt letting it sink in might be in order. I should say I'm a big fan of Guillermo del Toro and this film has his modus operandi written all over it. Everyone has brought their "A" game here: Sally Hawkins, Doug Jones, Michalr Shannon and the supporting cast. Great story, great acting, great production design. 9/10

BTW has anyone seen Michael Shannon in a role where he isn't the baddy or generally an unpleasant character?
