I just bought it on Bluray!! Have yet to watch it but I have seen parts before and remember it being very realistic and like a work of art really.

I think that work of art describes that movie quite well. It's not really a movie at all... And like most art not everyone gets it...I gotta say I've never gotten it either....and I have always found it waaay to artsy fartsy for my tastes. That being said, considering when it was made it did have some really ground breaking stuff too.

I think that work of art describes that movie quite well. It's not really a movie at all... @Thel:  After watching this movie in HD, you would never guess it was made in 1968!  It is #24 on my Top 50 list.

I have the 4 Stanley film favorites DVD, I saw Eyes Wide Shut, didn't get the mask on the pillowcase part, was his wife at the party or did the elite send it as a message that they can get to him and his family anytime as a warning?

It was a message.

What kind of message? That his wife was at the party, she seemed the deviant type.
