What was the last Movie you saw... Part III

In the middle of winter, a British island is experiencing a heat wave and nobody knows why.  I added this film to my collection because both Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing are in it.  Fairly interesting story, but with a predictable ending. 6/10

Not yet.  I ordered the last film I reviewed with it, and watched that one first.  Probably next week I will get to Corruption.  I have a couple of other films that I borrowed and I first have to view those in order to return them.

Watched the Netflix documentary on the Fyre Festival debacle.

It was fun to watch because it didn't happen to me.

I usually watch this at Christmas time but I was busy last year and have only gotten around to it now.
I love this movie and it stands up well these many years later. 8.5/10

I saw Vice this morning, it's about the life of former Vice President Dick Cheney. It's by the same guys that made The Big Short a few years back, and it has a very similar feel to it. I much prefer The Big Short to Vice, it isn't bad, it is certainly well acted, and it does give insights into the workings of the US government (accurate or otherwise), but I don't think it adds anything we didn't already know or at least suspect. 6/10

Amusing look at the world of Country music in the South.  Some parts are hilarious. 8/10

I just watched this again couple of weeks ago...still great! The effects have held the test of time extremely well. And even Tom Cruise was pretty good.

As an alien invasion film it was great... it just wasn't War of the Worlds... IMHO!

love it as well , although the very clear religion message in the end is perfectly ridiculous.
There is also a message in this 2005 version movie but more nuanced, especially the epilogue. I prefer to retain the scientific parable of the infinitely small joining the infinitely large.
