Yeah I'm thinking about it... I might send them an e-mail and see what they say over there.

Haven't had the chance to listen to the album yet though with this Battlefield 2042 beta going on but I'll see if I can listen to it later today.

This morning following a missed professional meeting, I visited a record store that I frequent from time to time and which has very reasonable prices. As always, go to the vinyl sector and of course to the section of our favorite music and I find this! :

Very jealous of Jack and Charger  >:D,  I did not expect so much. This new copy only cost me 22 €! Cant 'believe it.  :guitar:

Music glue are handling KK’s Priest merch and they’re notoriously bad at packaging/shipping but usually very good at offering replacements on lost or damaged goods. Metallica opened up European merch arm and put Music glue in charge of it and there’s been some horror stories of bad packaging, mainly on the limited edition lithos Metallica puts out. You’re lucky if they arrive uncreased or not crushed due to being poorly rolled and sent in thin tubes. But they always come to the party in offering replacements. They’ve literally had to replace full runs of numbered lithos in the past. Just send them the photos of the damage.

Ah well that's good to know. Then I think I will be contacting them today.

EDIT:
I just send them a query with a pic of the damage. Let's see what their responce shall be...

EDIT 2:

Okay so they just responded and offered me a 25% refund as that is the best that they can do I accepted it. The damage isn't that bad but it is still unfortunate for a collectors item.

^^^I would’ve demanded they at least sent a replacement cover but as long as you’re happy that’s the main thing.

Missed getting this last year so picked it up the other week after seeing it for a great price

Yeah I guess I should have done that actually...but didn't even think of it to be honest after they shot down my request for a replacement....oh well.

Love reading all of this, it's so cool. My youngest daughter is getting married next week, and they are going to honeymoon in Jamaica.

My first thought was "that's great, have fun!"

My second thought was "I need to give her details about the record I'm looking for and have her and my son-in-law scour record stores for the Yellowman album I'm looking for"

It's a disease.

Nice.

I had forgotten how horrible the cover to No More Tears was... :D
I only have the Epic remasters from the 90s which have the small cover art and the large Ozzy text...

Well, did you resist the urge to get them to scour the isle for the album?

It's not unheard of for parents to go on the honeymoon too... let's face it they're not going to have time looking through old record shops! :D

Why would anyone not look through old record shops to help out dear ol' dad?

True on both counts lol.

Nope. Luckily of our two daughters she has an actual interest in records so I wasn't too out of line with my ask. Whether they actually spend anytime looking for it is another thing, though. Like KDC mentioned, probably not going to have much time to worry about record shops!
