Hahahahaha, that's awesome!

You're right, the sidelines, and social mores, have changed considerably :)

Wouldn't even get Gatorade showers until the mid-80s.

The Packers were awful today bordering on embarrassing.

Glad the 9ers and Chiefs won though. We’ve got the best possible match up in the Super Bowl. Particularly happy for Chiefs fans as it’s been a 50 year wait to get back to the Super Bowl.

It’s gonna be a cracker as we say down here.

The Flaming Thumbtacks put up a good fight at the start, but once the Chiefs stopped getting offsides penalties, the tables were turned and we saw a convincing demonstration of the power of the fully-operational battle station that is the Kansas City Chiefs team. Finally, Andy Reid gets to coach in a Super Bowl with the Chiefs! And he gets to coach some phenomenal talent in Kelce, Watkins, and Hill on the receiving end to say nothing of their amazing young rusher Patrick Mahomes, who shares the same host body as star QB Patrick Mahomes. Word on the street is that NASA has a gentleman's agreement with KC to not interrogate Mahomes about his otherworldly origins until after the Super Bowl, so that the young athlete can focus properly on plans for the coming contest.

The Santa Clara Squared Sevens built up a lead and then never looked back. Tremendous running game from the other red team in the playoffs and that running game may have had something to do with how the SF offensive line showed up to play yesterday. In a related note, Bay Area Police have issued a missing persons alert for the entire Green Bay offensive line, which did not show up yesterday, as evidenced by Aaron Rogers' hapless situation multiple times. That one snap that bounced off the center's athletic supporter pretty much said it all for the Packers offense as it was tripping over itself to get the job done. Richard Sherman must have been hitting the books hard before the game, and I bet he must have read at least one article about how Rogers likes to throw long bombs when the Packers get behind. His interception that ended Green Bay's last-gasp offensive set of downs sealed the deal and punched the Numbers' ticket to the big game in February.

Eleven hours and seven minutes to the big bowl. Should be a fight, both teams have the tools to get the job done. Go Chiefs!

My heart is with the Chiefs but my head is slightly leaning towards the 9ers. Gonna be an enthralling game.

Great result and well deserved. Happy for the Chiefs and their fans and especially Andy Reid.
