Over here, I had a pretty good week. 3 months into my new job and I taped a session on Zero-Trust Network Security with the CISA TIC Program Manager, Sean Connelly. It was a great discussion and I'm chuffed about it.

Hello Vyn! I have been feeling OK and have not been sick in a few weeks. Hopefully whatever it was will stay away.
My family doc said that it may have been the Covid and he was surprised when I told him they never tested me for that.
After what seemed to be a hundred tests the one test that you would think they would do was missing.

Maybe the Doctors were suffering from COVID fog themselves. I thought it was a given in these current times that before you go into hospital they test you for COVID as part of their own health & safety protocols.

I was in isolation for most of the times I was at the hospital, but for some reason, they never gave me a Covid test?
In fact, I can remember the first time I went in the doc told the nurse that what I was going through was not Covid??

Would be very strange if Covid would have caused those kinds of symptoms...

But even more strange is that you weren't tested! I thought that would be the very first test to take when taking any tests....

At the time I was too sick and for some reason did not even consider it to be Covid.
Yes, it is strange that they did not test me for it and my family doctor was perplexed about that.

Maybe they could tell that I did not have Covid by my bloodwork?!? Just a theory.

Found out the hard way that I can't digest beans like I used to. Indigestion kicked in a few hours after supper and woke me up around 1AM. I had some peppermint drops on hand and read that hydration also helps. Win on both those counts. However, I kept waking up during the night and did not get good sleep. Getting better now, but still feeling a lot of ugh in my gut from the indigestion.

Peppermint drops, by the way, are best when they are made from pure peppermint oil. Peppermint candies are nice, but not as medicinal.

Beans are the ultimate fart food...but sometimes the air does get "trapped" inside and then you can experience some extreme discomfort...I've had that few times and it ain't nice!

Which is why I never eat beans anymore.
