^^Yeah not bad. The vocals are far less growly or deathly than usual for Entombed.

James Hetfield can growl, shout, and grimace. Singing? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

^^ I'm not an expert but every time I listen to 70s Soul music, I think about Glenn Hughes's love for this music and its influence on his singing style. If I had closed my eyes, I would have thought for a moment that it was Glenn at the microphone.

Glenn does proper justice to soul vocals. It's hard for him to hide his love and appreciation for the genre.

And, yeah, I REALLY hear the similarity with Glenn Hughes on this performance. Wow. Didn't notice it before you mentioned it. Time to awesome somebody!

Sorry ZZ, but I can't think of anything positive to say about either of those covers. I really like funk and soul but I didn't like the direction they took with these two classics. Worst of all was the vocals, too weak.

If you can't rock out with "Hound Dog", you can't rock, full stop. Any decent band can do wonders with this tune, and Little Richard proves what a genius can do with it. Love this version.
