Don't be like that Charger, it only makes me feel like shit now. I've told you before I respect you  and love that you're a metal freak much like I am even if our taste or views can differ greatly.  It's important for you to know there is no lingering animosity from my end which is why it's important to get things in the open and resolved respectfully and not to be allowed to fester like what happened a lot amongst members at the other place.

These games are suppose to be fun. We should never lose sight of that.

^^^ Just for the record I love these games... even though my choices/favourites usually disappear inside the first week! These "restricted" games need boudaries otherwise you get all sorts on nonsense being listed but it will exclude some good choices, but such is life.

I love the H&H games even though JtS makes picks that I kick myself for not nominating. Seriously, it's all in a competitive sort of fun.

And I really don't see how you not participating makes this a better place. You need to be here and we need to figure out what we need to figure out.

I don't wish to interrupt your game here, but I have to make a couple of comments.

It is probably obvious to most that I have never played one of these heal/hurt games.  I have nothing against them, it's just that I don't find them all that interesting.  I much prefer the little polls we have now and then. 

But I have noticed that sometimes the results of these games provides people with actual "hurt".  I believe this is due to the above average passion we all have for the music we love.  I know when someone tears down a Sabbath album I love, I am tempted to take it as a personal insult, which is wrong.  So if anyone else feels a similar temptation during one of these games, remember, it is wrong.

Alright...

I've taken a lot of things into consideration now and I feel that I was very much in the wrong with this whole thing and creating this whole game.

But I will leave it up to you to either vote to take it down or not....


It is clear that there are fans of these and then there are those that are not.

SO from now on I think we should just limit these games to the general just for fun section and have random bands and albums battle it out.


We should find another way of ranking stuff though for the future. Ofcourse the obvious choice would be a survivor kind of a thing but that was on the other place and I'm not sure we'd want something like that here.

But yeah this game was my mistake and I do appologize for it and making shit choices...

It's worth a discussion - maybe what's needed is for us to arrange them in order, 1-9, and then we add up the total points for each song. Lowest points mean we all generally agree that a given song is a great tune. High points for a song mean we're all pretty much agreed that it's not the best of the bunch.
