Tomatoes can be rather quick sometimes...especially when germinating on a heated floor like I do.


Only one patch of seeds did not surface...so those must have been a bad patch...luckily they weren't the most expensive ones but still...

Well finally everything went into the greenhouse!

Chilis I took out earlier this week and yesterday were the cucumbers and today the tomatoes! The season is officially under way!

There are some nice small varieties of cherry tomatoes that only grow about 20 inches high. Those would be ideal for indoor growing. Totem is one, I have those this year as well.

Did some yard work before my meeting and found that I now have an allergic reaction to the grass in my yard. Or something in my yard. Anyway, got a big rash on my feet and legs, took some allergy medication, and I'm going to be having a nice nap in a few more mins.

Well fixing the wind destruction today..

Got a new roof panel for the greenhouse and managed to cut into size earlier today...

Now just need to get it up....the panel being 6ft X 19ft it's not going to be an easy task to do by myself.

Aye, that's a lengthy bit of plank. I'd come over and lend you a hand, but even with modern air transport, the way it runs in the US now I would get there faster by boat. Then the season would be over. So, I can't make it.

It's up.

It was just 4mm plastic sheet so the weight was a non issue.

There was zero wind so that helped. Hardest part was to get it without scratching it...but I managed.
