That's always made me wonder, Dio saying the concert was being recorded AND filmed...

Same here. According to the old Sabbathlive website, the full concert existed (I assume in a similar method to the audio version) and one of those bootleg DVDs of the Headless Cross era Russian shows (I think) supposedly had a short preview of it.

Reportedly the footage was destroyed. It was stored at WB somewhere and the originals either burned or got scrapped depending on the source...

I think this fake trailer is all there is:

I think that fake trailer footage was the same that was used on some of those Moscow bootlegs.

I think Tony himself had mentioned that the footage is no more. I think they were searching for it during the H&H days...

That's perhaps more likely, but they did have that (perhaps far-fetched) tale about a WB employee discovering the reels (or tapes, whatever format the film happened to be in) in a dumpster outside their office.

The Black and Blue footage is indeed solid, good performances from both bands IMO.
