I still hope Iommi plans on one day releasing that possible 'box set of riffs' that he and Brian May were talking about.

Pretty good video Gibson released yesterday. Most of the stories we’ve heard before but Tony is a little more descriptive and in depth than his usual self. Covers most of the era’s too. Cool that his solo album gets some time spent on it as well.

Sounds like the Forbidden remix/remaster will see the light of day sometime this year and maybe next year we might have some new music from Tony.

Here’s another cool interview/chat with Tony for anyone that is interested and hasn’t seen it which came out last week conducted by Richie Faulkner from Judas Priest.

Not sure if anyone has bothered listening to these recent interviews I’ve been posting but I’ve got another one for you that is well worth an hour of your time. Conducted only a couple of weeks ago by Eddie Trunk who’s interview style I’ve always enjoyed.

Some of the more interesting stuff to come out of it was that Tony says the Forbidden remix and everything is done and was finished quite awhile ago but is holding off on releasing it as he doesn’t want to bombard fans with stuff as there’s been Ozzy era stuff put out recently and there is also Dio era stuff coming out which he said he couldn’t talk about yet. Also mentioned he has studio rehearsal stuff on tape dating back to MOR-Sabotage era.
I wonder what the Dio release is? Maybe a vinyl boxset or something as theres been a few original era vinyl box sets but no Dio era.

Seriously though you’d think he’d just put Forbidden out seeing he’s gone through the trouble of remixing it and there are fans out there that are wanting it.

Good interview, check it out.

I may be mistaken but I'm sure I read a few weeks back that Wendy Dio was doing something (maybe for the 10th anniversary of Ronnies death!!). So while not directly Sabbath it probably has a huge crossover interest with fans. Sadly I can't remember where I saw it to confirm!

I always enjoy hearing Tony, especially when he's given the time to stretch out and talk. For years it seemed that he was very closed-lip about everything (in the press anyway).

Yep I remember there was something brewing as well but can’t quite remember what it was. Was it something to do with Dehumanizer maybe?

Yep agree, he seems to have opened up even more in recent years in his semi retirement. Tony and Bill have always been the better of the original 4 to listen to. Geezer still doesn’t offer up much and while Ozzy use to be pretty good 20+ years ago he’s half a scatterbrain now and you can hardly understand what the fuck he’s saying.

Tony always gives great interviews!

Too bad that's on apple so I don't think I can listen to it as I have no apple devices...

Im thinking it was maybe his long awaited autobiography that he was working on when he died. Maybe there is gonna be some Sabbath releases to coincide with it.

You could be right, but it's irritating me that I can't find the article which might confirm it.

I wonder if Tony has given some thought to releasing the Live Evil film, after all these years?

That's always made me wonder, Dio saying the concert was being recorded AND filmed...

Same here. According to the old Sabbathlive website, the full concert existed (I assume in a similar method to the audio version) and one of those bootleg DVDs of the Headless Cross era Russian shows (I think) supposedly had a short preview of it.
