I express the wish that he will not produce anything with Ozzy in the future. 13 is here and that's it. Welcome to some singers with real abilities for a possible solo album.
I'm waiting for the remix of Forbidden with a lot of impatience.
with upcoming releases like Candlemass , Rammstein , Sodom , The Cult , Queensrÿche ,   2019 could be promising  :headbanger:

Yeah I'm kinda each way, I'll welcome anything Iommi whether it's with Ozzy or anyone but it would be cool if he put together a supergroup ala Them Crooked Vultures.

Agreed!

Tony deserves so much more than Ozzy especially at this point so I'm hoping if he is gonna do a new album it could be with lots of guest singers again.

But if he wants to do a few new songs with Tony Martin I wouldn't be against that either!

I’m hoping Tony doesn’t do anything else with Ozzy, Ozzy is done.

http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/tony-iommi-doesnt-know-what-kind-of-album-he-wants-to-release-next/

I'd be all for a new Solo record with multiple singers!

Singer's that could work:
Tim Ripper Owens naturally
Robert Lowe
Lee Dorrian
Veronica Freeman
Alice Cooper
Joey Belladonna
Ian Gillan
Jon Oliva

That would already be one hell of a line up.

But a new album with Ian Gillan or Tony Martin could ofcourse work as well.

But NOT NOT NOT NOT with Glenn Hughes.

Tony has just to play and it will be perfect for me.

my singers wishlist :
Ian Gillan
Glenn Hughes
Robert Plant
Tony Martin
Rob Halford
Messiah Marcolin
Doogie White
Magnus Pelander (Witchcraft)
Ian Astbury
Marco Hietala
Tom Araya (few fast songs)

No need to : Phil Anselmo , any Dio clone , any Ozzy clone , Serj Tankian , Dave Grohl and Ronnie Romero.

Neil Murray : Bass
Kenny Aronoff : Drums
Don Airey : Keyboards

Hi Tyr66, I agree with 4 singers on your list, Doogie White, Ian Gillan for sure and of course the voice of Rock, Mr. Hughes and Ian Astbury, love me some cult.

And 3 singers on your list Charger, Ripper Owens, Robert Lowe and Lee Dorrian, that would be heavy.

It's hilarious how people can mention Tony deserves better than Ozzy and Ozzy is done etc and then go on to mention Gillan and Martin as potential collaborations. Those two have been done for years.

Yet both can sing their asses off where as Ozzy's just mumbling along putting incoherent words together....yeah...they are in the same league for sure.  ::) ??? :wall:

On the contrary Jack The Stripper, Gillan and Martin can still sing, Ozzy not so much anymore.

I know this will be an unpopular remark, but it's the truth, Gillan can still belt them out.

I never really thought Martin could ever sing. :smug:

A new band with Geezer and Bill releasing a double album; side Gillan and side Halford, all five writing together.
Iommi II with Robert Plant, Alice Cooper, James Hetfield, Mike Patton, Jack White, Björk, Lee Dorian, Coverdale with Hughes backing and co-op with Rage Against The Machine (to give him a fair chance at good Rap Metal :P )

On a scale of 1-10. 10 being at the very peak of their powers, Gillan is about a 4, Ozzy would be about a 3 and Martin a 2. Don't be fooled by the trickery in how good the studio can make these guys sound.

Hetfield? Maybe if it's an instrumental! :D Cause now there is a singer that really has lost a whole heep of power...hell he can't even use any of the deeper register anymore.

The double album idea would sound interesting though...but needs an actual capable drummer though. Bobby Rondinelli perhaps.
