^^WTF Despicable?

Quite the class A asshole that man, but it takes nothing away from his acting skills...just not the kind of person I would ever like to know.
Dont know I've never met the man. Totally uncalled for though I would've thought.

Well all you need to know it really is to just watch some interviews or speeches at some galas...my god. He pretty much represents all that is wrong with Hollywood.

But like I said, takes nothing away from his acting skills.

What because he’s famous and he don’t like Trump and speaks his mind that makes him despicable does it?

No, its because you don't walk out in front of a national audience and drop an F-bomb on a live show that children and teens are also watching.  Super great actor, super low class.

This right here...Actors are huuuge role models and they should act like it. DeNiro does not. Plus this is just the one side of his unpleasantness.

How many children you reckon sit around watching the Tony's?

Well it kind of does now doesn't it...but that's the norm in Hollywood. Nothing new there. Majority of them aren't exactly nice or pleasant people. And usually the "bigger" actor you are the bigger asshole you are because you think that your fame and talent gives you a free pass to do and say anything.

But to get things back on track

Let's also say a HAPPY 49th BIRTHDAY to  a great actor CHRISTIAN SLATER!

You don't need to be famous to get a free pass to say anything you want. You just need an Internet connection and keyboard.

Sorry I even mentioned De Niro's birthday now  :-[

No need to be. No one here has denied his acting talent...and for that he should be celebrated. One can seperate the man from the talent too.

I'll be honest.  The guy can criticize Trump all he wants without having to speak like that in public.

Now you be honest.  What do you think the reaction would be if 5 years ago someone else got up there and said, "The hell with president slave boy" ?

There are a whole lot of actors and other artists you *don't* want to get to know in real life, but you can appreciate their talent separate from the personality.

The same reaction if they called any African American slave boy.

Maybe you should change this thread title to "Birthdays and Molecules and Despicable Low Class Arsholes then"?
