First impressions after three listens.

Pros - Love the melody and general feel of the song. Ozzy sounds great, maybe a little too great. Auto-tune or some tyoe of enhancing but it's not too bad.  Song is stuck in my head already, which is always a positive sign.

Cons - Over produced like Scream. Recording sounds overly compressed. Not a fan of the guitar tone particularly on the main solo.

Oh boy...another bland semi ballad...that was my worst fear after hearing that little clip.

Once the song kind of kicks in the riff is pretty cool...they should have run with that instead of slowing it down again into the cheesy blandness.

I wonder who is the band? The guitar is not bad but the tone is HORRIBLE.

Duff McKagan is the only name I recognize...but honestly can't even remember where from! :D

What a dull name for an album...especially an Ozzy album. He's had some great titles in the past but this is probably the worst...

Duff McKagan is from Guns N' Roses. Chad Smith Red Hot Chili Peppers. Andrew Watt not Watts played in California Breed with Glenn Hughes and Jason Bonham. Also worked a lot with Post Malone and others from that genre.

GnR damnit! Should have remembered that I suppose!  :-[

Red hot Chili Peppers? Wow...now that's a horrible band. Every single one of their songs sound exactly the same. There are some bands that really annoy the shit out of me and they are most certainly up high on that list...yikes.

Post Malone huh? Well I have to say I'll be surprised if there's even a ONE good song on this album...Ozzy really scraped the bottom of the barrel for this band...Why he didn't use Zakk is beyond me...

I think he just wants to work with other musicians at this stage. I don't like RHCP much either but Chad Smith is an amazing drummer. Duff's always been great and from what I've heard of Watt in California Breed he's got some chops. Has a good music intellect too.

Sometimes you work with someone and you just hit it off and connect and want to work more together.

I prefer something different from Ozzy these days. Not same old same old from Zakk & Co.

All I'd want from Ozzy is good music.

And honestly with Zakk there'd atleast be a chance for it cause even Black Rain had few good tracks...Scream had none and based on this track and the people involved...this won't either.

My first impression after 1 listen:  Kind of catchy, a little over produced like Jack said.  Not extra heavy, but I can live with that.

I'm not a big RHCP fan either.  However, I do like the song Dani California.

Thought the song was pretty bland. Chorus was nice and catchy though. I didnt really hate the Post Malone song either, that one was pretty good! I am excited to hear the whole album but I am not going to get my hopes up too much.

If this was a new song put out by some up and coming band, that I had no expectations or history with, I'd say it's pretty good.

But it's not. So I say...meh.

The technical performance is...perfect. But uninspired. The production seems overdone, and it isn't dynamic. Which is especially damning given the contrast between the heavy and light parts. Compression o-rama.

To me it's lifeless. Which I guess is OK if you're under the graveyard.

I'd rather listen to Revelation/Mother Earth.

This. Plus I deeply hate Chad Smith playing and RHCP as well . Good for Glenn Hughes , Chickenfoot or Joe Satriani and others funk Rock stuff. But not for Ozzy . This guy is a rock drummer not Metal .The surprise would be great if it was Dave Lombardo behind the kit.

Guitar tone reminded me of Never Say Die and then got worse. Yeek.

In spite of that, I had some fun with the tune. Didn't blow me away, but didn't turn me away, either. It was comfortable, I could say.

Anyone here like the new Ozzy song Straight To Hell?

I think Ozzy's vocals are over processed.
