Just got these tonight.  A fox and a deer in the yard together.


They actually played a bit of cat and mouse with each other.

Trust me, you want a highly-rated toilet when you're in China. The five-star toilet in Shanghai was one of the best places I've ever urinated.

Did they massage your shoulders while you pissed. Happened to my brother in China. They had restroom attendants that made it part of the experience. A little unnerving if you ask me.

No touchy stuff in either restroom. Thank goodness.

No, we are not suppose to.  My yard is not a lawn, but a variety of moss and weeds, so deer and other animals munch on their favorites.  This groundhog usually passes by at dinnertime.

Yeah, we don't want our yards to be explicit feeding stations, but if there's opportunity for wildlife to grouse about, so be it. I get tons of birds in my yard, but I'm too urban to get wildlife during the day.

These plants only produce some flowers once a year near the end of August.  But this year I hardly saw any and didn't know why.  Well, this morning I saw why.  Please see the second picture.


A deer mother and 2 fawns are eating all of my flower buds!   Now I will have to make sure I keep spraying these plants with deer repellent every August.  What a pain.
