As apposed to what are you listening to now? What was your music of choice today? Whether it was listening to an album or song(s) or maybe you watched something music related.

Today while working I continued with my annual Candlemass kick listening to Chapter VI then followed up by Candlmass(2005)

Then had my iTunes on shuffle for the rest of the time and the following songs played...

Good differentiation. There's what I play when I'm at work as ambient stuff to tap my fingers to as I wait for stuff to load. Then there's the stuff we like to savor, free of other distractions.

For me, I actually started today with "The Price of Silence" done by an ensemble of musicians to support Amnesty International. It's always an emotional experience for me, as each of the performers is not only active in human rights movements, but many were also victims of oppressive regimes. I'll post it in the World Beat thread later today when I savor it again.

Each morning I eat breakfast at my desk while looking over some work related material and have a classical music cd playing in the background.  This morning was Antonio Vivaldi, some violin concertos.

Today I listened to South Of Heaven(album) in full twice. Best guitar and drum sound of any Slayer album.

Then for some reason I felt the want to listen to Steel Panthers debut album Feel The Steel, followed by their sophomore release Balls Out.

Thinking about what I want to listen to later on tonight... might be some 70s NYC punk-ish rock, like the Dolls, Ramones and/or Dictators. Maybe also BOC...

Then for some reason I felt the want to listen to Steel Panthers debut album Feel The Steel, followed by their sophomore release Balls Out. 

  - South Of Heaven is their undeniable masterpiece! Every song is just killer!!
