Warm and raining today. We don't see 15C again, even for a low temp, until Late October. Summer is fixin' to kick in here in Texas, just hope it stays below 100F as long as it can.

It hit a new May high of 34.8C in West London yesterday. It may top 35 today.

Mighty warm over there...

Mighty chilly over here. Today's high was around 15C (60F) and it is expected to be below that rest of the week...but no rain. So just cold. Annoying.

Yeah...but we are getting a strong North/North Westernly wind that brings in Cold air straight from the north pole.

It is actually quite rare this time of year as usually airflow is either from South West or South East which means warm air.

Lapland actually got some snow yesterday! Which I believe is also VERY rare this time of year.

This has been an oddly cold year so far with almost every month being much colder than normal...part from March I think which was warmer.


Today the cold breeze continues...Temp now at 13C (55F) and the wind is blowing!

It's a weakened polar vortex, so colder air seeps further south more frequently.

Rain right now in Dallas, should be drier over the next few days.

Actually polar vortex has already dissipated for this summer...the effects of the vortex are non existent now.

First warm day in a while!

+23C (73F) and full on sunny day and most importantly no wind.
