In the 80s for a high today. Cold snap arrives tonight, but back to the 80s a week from now.

Low of 35 tomorrow, and Monday struggles to get into the 50s.

That's true.  I'll be swinging back into the 80s by JUNE!

Honestly, I'd like more consistency in the temps, as the big swings really mess with my health. Lots of people here get worn down with the ups and downs of temps coming as fast as they do.

I know what you mean.  I have been to Las Vegas several times in my life.  In fact, when I was in my 20s, I lived there for the entire month of March one year as an experiment to determine if I wanted to move there permanently.  During that month, there were a number of days that were in the 80s, followed by nighttime temperatures in the 50s.  I had never experienced such a large temperature swing in such a short amount of time.

Very windy and rainy but temps up at 10C (50F)! Very nice!

But tomorrow it'll all change...temps will plummet below freezing and thanks to the polar vortex falling towards south means COLD will pour in from the north and it looks like the end of the year will be colder than normal..YIKES!

Still in higher temps and drier air - fire danger getting to high levels across the state, with no rain expected until the middle of next week. It's about 10C / 20F warmer than usual for this time of year.

Forecast now says we might be getting 2-3 inches on Wednesday....yikes.

Wednesday evening a big cold front hits with rain and wind. Temps tumble 10 degrees F / 5 C with the rain and then after the rain, they go down another 10F / 5C with the clear weather. I really hope the cooler weather stays with us. The plants here need that coolness to SHUT UP and stop making pollen!

That forecast is similar to KC's. Currently it's clouding up, getting cooler, with a big shift called on Wed.

Our fall this year has been moving in fast-forward. Trees were green well into October, the end of which finally saw most start turning and beginning to drop their leaves. Then one day, *THONK* all of the leaves dropped at once...No snow yet, though.
