Summer ended with a bang here... We had some thunderstorms the other night and some rain and on Sunday we still had +25C (77F) and now it's down to 15C (60F) and it'll only get colder from now on with night temps falling down to around 5C (40F)...Fall has arrived just in time for September.

I just hope the below freezing nights aren't quite around the corner yet as my pumpkins still need to grow and my chilis and tomatoes are on top of their game now as well...

Plum trees are bursting at the seams with the weight of all them plums too...so frost would wreak havoc around here....

My tomatoes got killed off in the drought, otherwise they'd be loving the rains that have started to pick up around here.

It's been rather nice here for the past week...quite warm days around 15C (60F) but nights have been cold...below freezing in fact which did kill off my cucumbers even in the greenhouse...but there wasn't much left in them in terms of harvest anyways...But surprisingly my pumpkins and plums did survive...which is nice...

Nights should get bit warmer again with temps around 5C (40F) for the next week...

False Fall ended yesterday, temps in the 90s again in Dallas, but I spend the first half of the week in Toronto. Packing long-sleeved shirts for that business trip.
