Did more damage in the UK that one... Here it wasn't nearly as strong as the one last week...it still had some good blows but nothing like Ciara.

Yes, while still windy, it wasn't as bad as last week... but boy did it rain!! There were over 250 flood warnings and lots of flooding!

Another storm another inch of rain!

I think so far the rainfall has been nearly triple of february norm...and all rain too which is quite unusual.

It's been a very wet winter here, as well. Moderate temperatures, too - we're hardly wearing sweaters, let alone coats.

It's been a pretty hot two weeks here...about 80F every day....today we're expected to top 30C (86F) which is a limit we don't even cross every year.

Very dry too...it hasn't rained much all month. Which was ofcourse to be expected as it rained so much last year and during the winter. But I am bit surprised about the temps as we had the warmest winter in a long time I was expecting a very cool summer too...but I guess the coldest spring in recorded history made up for that though....

We're getting the start of the Sahara Dust Cloud here in the USA. May lead to more rain here with all that stuff in the air.

It's so hot here, I learned the C version of the temperature so I could talk about it with my international customers.

100F = 37.7 C, round it up to 38.

We had couple of weeks of really cold rainy weather...temps around 15C (below 60F)...

But now it's sunny again and temp's up to the mid 70s (24C) again. Sadly my allergies are back too then...

In the past we have odd days when the temperature hits 30C and a series of days where the temp might consistently be over 25C. It's been consistently low to mid-30s since Thursday. That never happens. And some inland areas have had nighttime figures that haven't dropped below 20C and have been still 26C at 11PM.

Just to clarify this is the UK, I appreciate those figures are nothing compared to Texas or Australia! But the world is definitely warming up!
