Today is average temps, in the 30sF.  But for the next 2 days we will be getting smacked with this polar vortex deal with highs around 15^oF (-10^oC).  However, no snow.

5 inches of snow today...and it's wet too...just spent 2 hours cleaning the yard...

I AM SO SICK OF THIS SHIT already...

I think we just passed the 20 inch mark on overall snow ammount.

Meanwhile we've just had our hottest January on record and up north in the state of Queensland they've had monsoonal record rainfalls with some parts having up to a metre of rain falling in the past 7 days. A lot of flooding. Crazy stuff!

If we don't have enough freezes in Texas, we're going to have some ferocious numbers of mosquitoes this year.

   Nice day today!  Temps above average, 45^oF (8^oC).  Spent the morning outside with the chainsaw cutting wood for the rest of the winter.

I feel for Charger.  There has been past winters when I am overloaded with snow.

Cold here today - minus 5 Celsius and a little bit of snow. This is the first time it has gone down below freezing this year. It looks as if the cold is going to be with us for the next week and a half.

Well it has been snowing for the last three days and that is very unusual for this area, at least in the amount that we have gotten so far. It does snow in late January early February occasionally but usually only for a day or so and very lightly. This is the most snow I have seen here on the Island since moving here 18 years ago.

Been pretty nice couple of days actually.... Temp's been around +5C (40F) and sunny...very spring like actually...in the dead of winter. I like it. Plus the snow is melting fast!

cold morning (41F/5°C) followed by a sweety afternoon (60 F/16°C).
Despite a stubborn flu for a week, I can finally enjoy this february unusual weather and a beneficial sleep these last 2 nights.

Earlier this week we had nice +5C (40F) weather and now it's -9C (16F) and it's suppose to be -20C (-4F) in the morning... Winter ain't done with me yet I see...
