Fair enough...

I kind of expected this so I'll just stop here and remove the ones I posted.

I should know better by now already than post any kinds of lists.

Really Charger?

A couple of people express surprise that one of your choices was a bit lower than expected and you choose that reaction?

Put your lists back and finish it off, you're better than that. We know you have a different perspective on Iron Maiden than the rest of us, it's what make these lists interesting.

Your opinion is important, even if it's not one we agree 100% on.

That is the truth!

I demand Iron Maiden album rankings from Charger!

Your top 5 is very interesting Thel...very interesting indeed. Way different from mine.

I know that my top two are a bit controversial, but I have truly adored those two albums since I first heard them.

I also think that you should repost your rankings Charger, and there is no right answer here.

I believe this is the first time they've ever done a never played oldie live before!! And the song to chose to do it with couldn't have been much better...

Yep first time for Alexander the Great. Maiden fans have been hankering for that song to be played live more than any other. So what a treat. They did a brilliant job of it too. Caught Somewhere in Time which hadn’t been played since Somewhere on Tour tour of 86/87 was another treat for the fans.

This one came out of the blue!

I ponder who will Maiden find to replace him as those are some damn big drum pedals to fill!

^^ Yes quite unexpected.  Apparently Maiden has already chosen a replacement which should be revealed soon.

I think he's a little older than the rest of the guys, perhaps he wants to slow down a little and enjoy his latter years.

I really good drummer, he'll be missed.

I remember when Clive Burr left, and thought, "who is this jackhole McBrain? Is that even a real name?" lol Turned out he was a top-flight drummer and yeah the name is real. Wishing him the best and hoping to hear him now and again - would be cool if he did that retired rock god thing and put out random songs now that he's no longer tied to a band.

McBrain doing the drums with Pat Travers back in 1977.

So they went with the guy from Steve's other band...no real surprise there. I'm pretty sure that was a done deal long ago.
