Bit of car work again today...


Had some consumption issues (with a 1.5l per 100km increase) but no fault codes or anything...that lead me to believe (based on reports online) that the NOX-sensor had gone so I ordered a new improved one and installed it....and things seem to be working fine again...consumption back to where it belongs around 8.2l per 100km...very good result for a 30 minute work...

Both rear springs are broken so today I was able to change one and tomorrow the other...

Not an easy job but doable...Would be easier if I'd have a lift but I don't so to jacks and a wet ass is what I had to work with....the wet ass came from working on the wet ground not because I shit myself from the ordeal...

Preferred maybe but desired...no.

Well after all the wheel bolt issues I managed to wash and wax and quick coat the car again...








Even poshed the tail pipe! Nothing beats a shiny tail end!

Nope...just a tractor tire! :D Out of an old Ford Major to be exact...it just came in for a fix though...not ours.

There are quite a few tractors however around...I do live on a farm after all! ;)
