I’ve always wondered what everyone does for a crust around here. It’s not something we’ve ever really delved into in all the years.

I mostly work alone... Thats the way I like it.

I work in network security for a security vendor, mostly from home. It was 30% travel before COVID-19, now 0% travel. Lots of customer interactions and associated fun times.

When people ask me, I tell them I work for an import/export business. Most get what that means. But we actually have six different companies and handle import freight forwarding, export freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, fulfillment, over-the road, and consulting services. We've been doing a lot more 3PL stuff over the past year or so, and are taking steps to build out a 4PL offering.

That job puts food on the table.

I also run a small firearms business.
