I saw this and my heart dropped. Such a major influence on other guitarists, one of the best in the biz. He could hypnotize when he got into a solo groove like on Nantucket Sleighride, just about any live version of the tune.

RIP Mr. West. Like any great musician, he had a distinctive style and tone that even a casual listener to distinguish.
