Well HELLO muscle relaxants!

Doctor suspected a muscle spasm or a muscle lock near the spine causing the ailment.

So he gave me some Sirdalud and strong painkillers and told to not move around too much.

Greed, grief, stress - they make people do weird things. I tend to think that pressure brings out a person's inner character. Regardless, due to the actions of certain relations, I have been working with my attorney to redo my will, my trust, my poa and medical poa documents. I approved the drafts today, so in the next week I'll be going out and signing all of them.

My late wife would be appalled. My disappointment is overflowing. My capacity to get things done remains intact.

I don't remember who knows what about me, but I live in the Kansas City, Missouri "area". Not IN Kansas City, but it's the largest city closest to me. This Thursday I'm leaving for a road trip of sorts - driving to Eureka Springs, Arkansas with my new lady. Maybe five hours. Going to a cabin out in the woods. Will be coming back the following Monday night.

This is the first vacation I have been on in so very many long years.

I've bought new furniture - well, some of it. Eventually most of it will be switched. Almost have the entire upstairs painted a new color. New lights/ceiling fans/blinds. Damn, blinds are expensive. Basement already done. Fired up the small biz I have had moth-balled for 18 months, about to scoop up some cash. Jesus christ, everything is changing. 

And I'm there for it.

So, I'm sitting here with all my dishes and laundry done. Everything cleaned up. Taking my two dogs to a local boarding place at 0800 tomorrow morning then heading out. I -was- going to go pick up T (I'll refer to her as T henceforth) BUT...plans have changed. I'm going to get her in about three hours and bring her back HERE. We'll get out on the open road about an hour sooner. Plus it is going to be raining like hell in the morning so one less thing to deal with.

Will pack my bags in a few minutes.
