I was having fun watching the start of college ball yesterday. Baylor very nearly got a win over Auburn in a 17-16 final score. Bears went for 2 and didn't get it.

Indeed. Then I read today about Michigan vs. Western Michigan in which WMU thought they beat Michigan in a massive 12-7 upset and then the refs found a second that nobody was using and put it back on the clock. The Hail Mary play worked and Michigan "won", 13-12.

These days most Smart TVs constantly gather information about you, even when they are turned off.  Many also detect other tech devices you are using.  Here is a link to turn this stuff off which I would recommend doing.  It covers most of the major Smart TV brands.

Bought a Smart lock for my front door.

Not the easiest thing to install but got it to fit and to work.

Now I can open the lock with my phone or with a code.

There is also an auto open feature but it requires wi-fi to be enabled on your phone all times and I never have my wi-fi on when I'm out and about so there really isn't much point in that feature if you still have to take out your phone and turn on the wi-fi... Why they couldn't make that work with the blutooth I'll never know...

Today I was washing the car and managed to somehow (do not know how) to tweak my back really good...

Can barely sit it hurts that much...goddamnit!

Luckily I don't have to go to work tonight but if it doesn't get better tomorrow I might need to think about a sick day...

For the smart lock: Make sure you mind the low battery warnings. I've had those kinds of locks for a good few years and when the batteries go out, it's a pain to replace them if one is in a rush to get somewhere.

I don't mess with the wifi, I just use the code pad and it's all good.

The back going out, though, ouch! I can only wish you the best, Charger.

Back pain is still here. I was expecting it to fade away during the night but nooooo...

Which means I'm calling in sick for tonight...which is something I very very rarely do.

Have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. But I'm sure it'll go away by then but just in case....

Back pain is like insomnia. I wouldn't want it to happen to anyone. Hopefully, yes, it works itself out with rest and recovery!
