Wow! Just woke to this sad news.

Knew he had been sick for quite awhile but it’s still a big shock!

What a trailblazing force of nature he was and an inspiration to millions of guitarist.

I was personally never a Van Halen fan as it was bit too commercial fast rock for my liking but what I would have loved to see is Tony Iommi and Eddie Van Halen joining forces for an album...I think that could have been really truly epic.
