This is a classic, I haven’t watched this movie in a long time.

I’m looking forward to the new Halloween movie next month.

Sharknado 6-The Last Sharknado: It's About Time

SyFy's crazier than crazy movie series comes to an even crazier end with Fin Shepard thrown back in time and trying to fight his way back to the present.

We've got dinosaurs vs sharks, Merlin (who is played by NEIL DEGRASSE TYSON of all people!) vs sharks, Ben Franklin (played by Leslie Jordan of all People!!) vs sharks Cowboys (Sheriff played by DEE SNIDER of all people!!!) vs sharks and ofcourse Fin Shepard vs robot sharks!! And everything in between!

This series has been a ton of laughs from start to finish and I have to say this final part did not disappoint in that department. The effects were just as poor as before, the science was non existent, the stunts crazy, and the acting so over the top it's just hilarious.

The Sharknado movies have captured everything that a good B-movie should be and more.

One special mention needs to be given to the final scenes that incorporated the late great John Heard who appeared in the very first movie. That was such a great tribute, I found that very surprising...but the man was loved by everyone.

A great ending to a great series of non sense. And on a nonsense scale this has to be given a perfect rating of:

I won't say much about what you see in this movie in order to not spoil anything.  If you don't mind very odd and outside-the-box type of films, then you will find this interesting. I thought the ending was a bit lacking in content, though. 6.5/10

Love this movie - and all the actors/actresses were excellent. Olivia Hussey is such a beautiful woman.
Also my favorite Shakespeare movie adaptation. 9.5/10

A look at the life of pianist Joe Albany from the perspective of his young daughter, as she watches him contend with his drug addiction during the 1970s jazz scene.  7/10

I had some time to kill yesterday so I went and saw Crazy Rich Asians and Night School.

While CRA was perfectly acceptable as a Rom Com it really didn't do anything new in the genre and I don't quite see what all the fuss was about. 6/10

Night School was better than I thought (but I had low expectations!) a couple of quite funny moments but overall quite forgetable. 5/10

Started my horror marathon month on Monday with Scream. Yesterday went with Night of the Living Dead. Both great films of course and tonight I am going with one I have never seen before The Witch!

^^^ I enjoyed The Witch but it is not particularly scary and is a little quirky. Love Anya Taylor-Joy in it and always look out for films with her in.

The Witch was a little quirky, but enjoyable. The atmosphere in it was  a bit creepy which is what made it for me. Acting was very good as well. Glad I checked it out. 7/10

EDGE OF DARKNESS

Boston Detective Tom Craven's daughter gets murdered right infront of him and as he begins to investigate it leads him to a conspiracy and a government contractor who is doing something quite illicit.

Action legend Mel Gibson shines in the leading role as a hurting father just trying to figure out what happened to his daughter, even if it would be the last thing he'd ever do.

This is not your average revenge movie but instead it's a slower paced mystery with several players including a CIA fixer Jedburg brilliantly played by Ray Winstone who is struggling with his own demons.
But that's not to say there isn't some brutal action involved as well and it is done with great talent.

The movie is based on a british tv series of the same name and without seeing the original I cannot say how close to it this came but what I can say is that this stand on its own feet quite well indeed. And Mel Gibson once again proves just how versatile of an actor he really is.

There is no happy ending in this one but frankly a movie like this doesn't really deserve a happy ending as long as the bad guys get exactly what's coming to them.

One of the best movies of this genre I have seen.
